"Blue"
Blue songs are like tattoos You know I’ve been to sea before Crown and anchor me Or let me sail away Hey Blue, here is a song for you Ink on a pin Underneath the skin An empty space to fill in Well there’re so many sinking now You’ve got to keep thinking You can make it thru these waves Acid, booze, and ass Needles, guns, and grass Lots of laughs lots of laughs Everybody’s...

Tumblr hacking:
First, is it possible to force the default theme while reading someone else’s blog?
Second, is it possible to reblog a tumblr post WITHOUT following the tumblr blog in question? This one has been driving me insane. No one seems to have posted the answer. So it’s either impossible, or blindingly stupid. Neither of these answers makes me happy.

The Baltimore Police Department knows how to prioritize. The investigation of murder, rape, and other petty infractions can fortunately get swept aside so that real crimes — illegal parking, expired meters — can feel the full brunt of punitive enforcement. Keep up the good work.

I deleted my Friendster profile years ago, and now I kinda wish I hadn’t. I would have liked to dig up old messages and things I had sent to people, or that people had sent to me. It is so dangerously easy to delete stuff in an instance when it’s on a server. Or at least disable your access them. I’m sure some hard-core programmer out there can access them using magical Internet...

conversations that happen sometimes
“So I’m just trying to tell you….”
“Oh, it’s okay. You don’t have to say it again.”
“I wasn’t going to repeat myself! I was just saying that I’m telling you. I’m making a statement—to you.”
“…OK?”
“I want you to know that I’m trying to tell you this. But I don’t think you...

Hey James C. McKinley Jr.
Well fuck. This Houston Chronicle article about the Texas gang rape of an eleven-year-old girl fills in a lot of the blanks that I was puzzling about before.
NYTimes, maybe you should just not bother covering news outside of New York? You clearly can’t handle it.

I have this blood sugar issue, which is that I (probably, maybe) don’t get enough protein as a general thing. I mean, I try, but it just doesn’t always work out. So starting around 11 a.m. I am a walking zombie who cannot hold a conversation or put two thoughts together, except for “give me food, foooood FOOOOOOOODDDDDIWILLEATYOURBRAINS.” So I’ve started eating a...
